Getting There

  • Car

    If you're starting from Las Vegas, take I-15 N towards Salt Lake City. After approximately 50 miles, take exit 64 for NV-169 toward Mesquite. Continue on NV-169 for about 15 miles until you reach Overton, NV. From Overton, head east on NV-169 and follow the signs to Valley of Fire State Park. The entrance fee is $10 per vehicle. Once inside the park, follow the road signs to Fire Canyon and Silica Dome, which are located within a short drive of the entrance.

  • Public Transportation

    Take a Greyhound or Megabus from Reno or Las Vegas to Overton. Once you arrive in Overton, you will need to use a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach Valley of Fire State Park. Confirm with your driver that they can take you to Fire Canyon / Silica Dome as the park's attractions may be spread out.

  • Car Rental

    If you are flying into Las Vegas and want to explore the area, you can rent a car at the airport. After renting your vehicle, follow the same route as outlined for the car guidance starting from Las Vegas.   • Bike or Hike
