To reach Cottonwood Canyon from any point within Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, start by taking the main scenic loop road (Red Rock Canyon Scenic Drive). Continue on this road for about 5 miles until you reach the Cottonwood Canyon trailhead parking area. Make sure to pay the entrance fee of $15 per vehicle, which is valid for one day.

If you're relying on public transportation, start by taking the RTC (Regional Transportation Commission) bus service to the nearest drop-off point, which is the Spring Mountain Visitor Center. You can catch the bus from various locations in Las Vegas. From the Visitor Center, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles along the scenic drive to Cottonwood Canyon. Note that this route does not have sidewalks, so be cautious while walking along the road.
