    Start at your location in Reno and walk to the nearest RTC (Regional Transportation Commission) bus stop. Check the RTC website or use a transit app to find routes and schedules. Take the bus Route 15 towards North Valleys. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at Dickerson Road and the Oxbow Nature Study Area. From the bus stop, walk approximately 0.2 miles northwest along Dickerson Road; the entrance to Oxbow Nature Study Area will be on your right.

    If you have a bicycle, start from downtown Reno and head north on Virginia Street. Continue onto North Virginia Street, and then take a left onto 4th Street. Follow 4th Street until you reach Dickerson Road. Turn right onto Dickerson Road and cycle approximately 1.5 miles. Oxbow Nature Study Area will be on your left. There are bike racks available at the entrance.
