Take the bus Route 15 towards North Valleys. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at Dickerson Road and the Oxbow Nature Study Area. From the bus stop, walk approximately 0.2 miles northwest along Dickerson Road; the entrance to Oxbow Nature Study Area will be on your right.

    If you have a bicycle, start from downtown Reno and head north on Virginia Street. Continue onto North Virginia Street, and then take a left onto 4th Street. Follow 4th Street until you reach Dickerson Road. Turn right onto Dickerson Road and cycle approximately 1.5 miles. Oxbow Nature Study Area will be on your left. There are bike racks available at the entrance.

    Walking

    If you are within walking distance, start at the Reno Riverwalk. Head north along the river trail until you reach the intersection with Lake Street. Turn right on Lake Street and then take a left onto Dickerson Road. Continue walking straight for about 1.2 miles. Oxbow Nature Study Area will be on your right.
