Walking
From the center of Downtown Reno, make your way to S Virginia St. Head south on S Virginia St until you reach the intersection with W 2nd St. Turn left onto W 2nd St and continue until you reach the intersection with Keystone Ave. Turn right onto Keystone Ave and walk straight until you reach the entrance of Idlewild Park at 2055 Idlewild Dr. This walk should take approximately 25-30 minutes.
Public Transit (RTC Bus)
From Downtown Reno, head to the nearest RTC bus stop. Check the RTC (Regional Transportation Commission) website or app for the nearest stop. Take Bus Route 7 towards 'Idlewild Park.' The ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Make sure to have a valid bus fare, which is typically around $2.00 for a one-way trip. Get off at the 'Idlewild Park' bus stop, and you will be just a short walk from the park entrance.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in Downtown Reno. Head south on S Virginia St until you reach W 2nd St. Turn left on W 2nd St, then turn right onto Keystone Ave. Follow Keystone Ave until you see the entrance to Idlewild Park at 2055 Idlewild Dr. The bike ride is approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on your pace.
