    If you are driving from Ruby Mountains, head southeast on Ruby Valley Road (NV-229) towards Spring Creek. Continue for about 25 miles until you reach the intersection with Lower South Fork Road. Turn left onto Lower South Fork Road and follow it for approximately 5 miles. The South Fork State Recreation Area will be on your left at 353 Lower South Fork Rd #8, Spring Creek, NV 89815.

    Public transportation options are limited in the Ruby Mountains area. The nearest major town with bus services is Elko, Nevada. From Elko, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to South Fork State Recreation Area.
