Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Las Vegas. Head west on I-15 and take the exit for NV-160 towards Pahrump. Continue on NV-160 for approximately 60 miles. As you approach Pahrump, turn left onto Pahrump Valley Blvd. After about 2 miles, take a right onto S. Blagg Rd. Follow this road until you reach Cathedral Canyon, which will be on your left. Make sure to bring water and snacks, as there are limited services in the area.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, take a Greyhound bus from Las Vegas to Pahrump. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Pahrump bus station, you may need to use a taxi or rideshare service to reach Cathedral Canyon, as public transport options in Pahrump are limited. Expect to pay around $20-$30 for a taxi ride to the canyon. It’s advisable to arrange your return transport in advance, as taxis may not always be readily available.
Bike
For the more adventurous, consider biking from Pahrump to Cathedral Canyon. Rent a bike at a local shop in Pahrump. The ride is about 10 miles and can take around 1 hour. Take Pahrump Valley Blvd north, then turn onto S. Blagg Rd. Remember to wear a helmet and bring plenty of water, as the area can get quite hot.
