From Sparks, head to the nearest RTC (Regional Transportation Commission) bus stop. Board the RTC bus route heading towards Reno. Stay on the bus until you reach the Reno bus terminal. From there, transfer to a bus heading towards Carson City. Make sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time for accuracy. Once in Carson City, disembark at the closest stop to Mountain St. Walk east on E. Robinson St, then turn right onto S. Carson St. Continue until you reach Mountain St, where you will turn left. The Nevada Governor Mansion will be on your right at 606 Mountain St.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Sparks. Start by heading south towards E. Prater Way. Follow E. Prater Way, which will lead you to the Pyramid Highway. Continue on Pyramid Highway until you reach the intersection with US-395. At this point, merge onto US-395 south, following the signs towards Carson City. Upon entering Carson City, navigate towards the historic downtown area. Use local bike lanes and paths to reach Mountain St. Once you arrive, you can lock your bike and visit the Nevada Governor Mansion at 606 Mountain St.

If you are in the downtown area of Sparks, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Carson City. Start at the Sparks Marina Park. Walk west towards Victorian Square, then head south along S. Virginia St. Continue straight until you reach the edge of Reno, then take a left onto E. 2nd St. Follow this road until it merges into US-395 south. Walk along the pedestrian pathways until you reach Carson City. Once in Carson City, make your way to Mountain St by heading east, and the Nevada Governor Mansion will be located at 606 Mountain St.
