Car
To drive from Valley of Fire State Park to Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort State Historic Park, begin by exiting the park and turning right onto NV-169 S. Continue on NV-169 S for about 12 miles until you reach I-15 S. Merge onto I-15 S and drive for approximately 35 miles. Take exit 41 toward Washington Ave and keep right at the fork to continue on E Washington Ave. The Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort will be on your left at 500 E Washington Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89101. Note that parking is available nearby.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a taxi or rideshare service from Valley of Fire State Park to the nearest bus stop in Overton. From there, take the Route 212 bus towards Las Vegas. The bus will take you to the Las Vegas Strip, where you can transfer to the Route 206 bus. Ride the Route 206 until you reach the stop at E Washington Ave. Walk east for a few minutes, and you will arrive at Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort at 500 E Washington Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89101. Be aware that bus fare may incur costs, typically around $2 per ride.
