If you're driving from the Reno area, head south on Virginia Street (NV-431) towards downtown Reno. Continue for about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Idlewild Drive. After about 0.5 miles, you will see Idlewild Park on your right at 2055 Idlewild Dr, Reno, NV 89509. There is parking available at the park, which is free of charge.

Public Transportation
To reach Idlewild Park using public transportation, you will need to take the RTC RIDE bus. Board the bus at any nearby RTC bus stop and take Route 15 towards the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the Idlewild Drive stop. From there, walk about 5 minutes south on Idlewild Drive, and you will arrive at the park. Make sure to check the RTC website for current bus fare, which is typically around $2 for a one-way trip.
