If you are driving to the Mackay Mansion Museum, start from the center of Reno, NV. Head southeast on S Virginia St toward E 2nd St. Merge onto I-580 S toward Carson City. Continue on I-580 S for about 18 miles, then take the exit for US-395 S toward Carson City. After about 20 miles, merge onto NV-341 N toward Virginia City. Follow NV-341 for approximately 16 miles until you reach Virginia City. Once in Virginia City, turn left onto S D St, and the Mackay Mansion Museum will be on your right at 291 S D St. Parking is available nearby. Note that there may be a fee for parking in the area during busy tourist seasons.
