From Reno, take I-80 E towards Elko. Merge onto US-395 N towards Susanville. Follow US-395 N for approximately 100 miles until you reach the small town of Gerlach. Once in Gerlach, turn left onto NV-34 W (also known as Soldier Meadows Road) and continue for about 10 miles until you reach the entrance to Sheldon National Antelope Refuge. Be aware that some sections of the road may be unpaved, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended. There are no tolls on this route.
