If you are driving, head to downtown Reno, NV. Use the I-80 E highway and take exit 13 for Virginia St. Merge onto S Virginia St and continue straight for about 1.5 miles. Turn right onto W 9th St, then turn left onto Arlington Ave. Follow the signs for the Wilbur D. May Arboretum, which will be on your right at 1595 N Sierra St, Reno, NV 89503. Parking is available at the site.

To reach Wilbur D. May Arboretum via public transportation, take the RTC bus route 5 from various locations in Washoe County. Get off at the stop near the Reno Riverwalk District. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to the Arboretum. Head north on N Virginia St, then turn right onto W 9th St, and left onto Arlington Ave. The Arboretum will be on your right. If you prefer to bike to the Arboretum, you can use the Reno Bike Path that runs along the Truckee River. Start at the bike path access point in downtown Reno and head towards the north. Follow the path until you reach Arlington Ave. Turn left onto Arlington Ave and continue until you reach the Wilbur D. May Arboretum. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic regulations. There are bike racks available for secure parking.
