Follow NV-445 N for about 10 miles until you reach the junction with NV-431 W. Take NV-431 W and follow the signs for the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. The forest entrance is about 30 miles further on NV-431 W, where you'll find various access points to the forest.
