Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the center of Bourail, near the main market area. Head west on Rue de la République until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Église. Turn right onto Rue de l'Église and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route de la Baie des Tortues. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views along the way. As you get closer, keep an eye out for a small pathway on your left that leads up to the lookout point. The path may be unmarked, so look for signs of foot traffic.

• Bicycle

  If you have a bicycle, rent one from a local shop in Bourail. Begin at the town center and ride west along Rue de la République. At the intersection with Rue de l'Église, turn right and follow it until the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Route de la Baie des Tortues. Continue cycling for approximately 2 kilometers. Look for a small trail on your left leading up to the Baie des Tortues Lookout Point. Make sure to check your bike’s brakes before you go down the path, as it can be steep in some areas.

• Hiking

  For those looking for a more adventurous route, start your hike at the center of Bourail. Proceed west on Rue de la République and turn right onto Rue de l'Église. Follow this road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route de la Baie des Tortues. After about 2 kilometers, you will notice a trail on your left leading to the lookout point. The hiking path can be steep and rocky, so wear appropriate footwear and bring plenty of water.
