From the center of Hienghène, make your way towards the main road (RPN3). Head northeast on the main road until you reach the fork where RPN3 splits. Stay on RPN3 and continue walking for approximately 5 kilometers. You will pass by several small local shops and homes along the way. Once you reach the junction for the Cascade de Colnett trailhead, look for signs indicating the direction to the waterfall. Take the trail leading to the waterfall, which should be marked. The hike to Cascade de Colnett is about 30-40 minutes. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the trail can be rocky and uneven.
