Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the main town of Vao. Head south on the main road (Route de l'Anse) towards the southern part of the island. Continue along this road for about 15 minutes. Look for signs indicating Natural Pool, as it is a popular destination. You will reach a parking area near the entrance to the Natural Pool area. From there, it's a short walk to the pool itself.

  For those using public transportation, catch a local bus from Vao that heads towards the southern attractions. You may need to check the bus schedule as services can be limited. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Natural Pool. The bus will drop you off near the entrance, and from there, it's a short walk to the pool. Keep in mind that bus services may not run frequently, so plan your return trip accordingly.

• Walking

  If you are nearby and prefer walking, ensure you have a good map or GPS. From the nearest town or your accommodation, locate Route de l'Anse and head south. Follow the path towards Natural Pool, which is well-marked with signs. The walk can take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on your starting point, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
