Getting There

  • Bus

    From the center of Nouméa, head to the main bus station located at Place des Cocotiers. Look for bus line 10, which is a direct route to Anse Vata. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. Once you reach the Anse Vata stop, disembark and walk towards the beach. Keep heading along the promenade until you see the Lagoon Aquarium, located at 61 Promenade Roger Laroque. The aquarium will be on your left, and the total trip should take about 30 minutes.

  • Walking

    If you are near the city center, you can also choose to walk to the Lagoon Aquarium. Start from Place des Cocotiers and head southeast towards Rue de l'Anse Vata. Continue walking straight until you reach the beachfront promenade. From there, turn left and stroll along the promenade, enjoying the views. The Lagoon Aquarium is located at 61 Promenade Roger Laroque, approximately a 40-minute walk from Place des Cocotiers.
