Getting There

Public Bus
From downtown Laconia, head to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Take the 'Laconia to Conway' bus operated by the Lakes Region Transit. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for departure times. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at the stop near the intersection of Route 16 and Route 112 in the town of Albany. From there, you will need to walk about 1.5 miles along Route 16 West. Follow the signs for Mt. Chocorua and enjoy the scenic views as you approach the mountain.

Biking
If you enjoy biking, you can rent a bike from a local shop in Laconia. From the rental shop, head towards the Laconia Rail Trail, which runs alongside the lake. Follow the trail until you reach Route 11. Take a left onto Route 11 and continue until you reach Route 16 South. Once you reach Route 16, turn right and follow it for about 5 miles. Look for signs directing you to Mt. Chocorua. The ride is beautiful and will take about 45 minutes depending on your biking speed.
