Turn left onto Front Street and continue for about 0.2 miles. You will then pass the Exeter Town Hall on your right. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Governors Lane. Turn right onto Governors Lane. The American Independence Museum will be on your left at 1 Governors Ln.
Public Transit (Bus)
If you are near the Exeter Public Library, you can catch the COAST bus service. Board the Route 1 bus heading towards Portsmouth. Get off at the stop at Water Street and Epping Road. From there, walk east on Water Street for about 0.3 miles until you reach Front Street. Turn left onto Front Street and continue for about 0.2 miles. Then turn right onto Governors Lane. The American Independence Museum will be on your left at 1 Governors Ln.
Biking
If you have access to a bike, start at the Exeter Town Center. Head south on Water Street for about 0.3 miles. When you reach Front Street, turn left and keep biking for another 0.2 miles.
