Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Wolfeboro, which is located on the eastern shore of Lake Winnipesaukee. From the center of Wolfeboro, get onto NH-28 N and continue for about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Governor John Wentworth Highway (NH-109) and follow it for approximately 2.5 miles. Look for the park entrance on your right at 297 Governor John Wentworth Hwy. There is a parking fee of $4 for New Hampshire residents and $8 for non-residents. Make sure to have cash or a check as the park may not accept credit cards.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, check the local bus service for routes to Wolfeboro. The nearest bus stop may be located in nearby towns. Once you reach Wolfeboro, you will likely need to use a rideshare service or taxi to cover the last 2.5 miles to Wentworth State Park as public transport options may not directly service the park.
