• Car

  If you are driving to Sunset Rock from the Mount Monadnock area, start by heading south on NH-124. Continue on NH-124 until you reach the junction with US-101. Merge onto US-101 East. After about 10 miles, take exit 3 toward Keene. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Main Street. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street, and follow it for about 2 miles. Sunset Rock will be on your right. There is no entrance fee to access Sunset Rock.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, take a bus from the nearest transit station to Monadnock to the Keene area. Once in Keene, you can use local taxi services or rideshare apps like Uber or Lyft to reach Sunset Rock. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance to ensure timely transfers. Local taxi fares may vary, so it’s advisable to confirm the fare beforehand.

• Walking from Local Area

  If you are already in Keene, you can walk to Sunset Rock. Start at the Keene City Center and head south on Main Street. Proceed for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street and follow it for about 2 miles. Sunset Rock will be on your right. This walk will take around 45-60 minutes, depending on your pace.
