Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to Route 16 (White Mountain Highway) from wherever you are in Mount Washington Valley. Head north on Route 16 towards Jackson. Continue driving for about 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 302. Take a right onto Route 302 and continue for approximately 1 mile. Turn left onto Profile Drive. Washington Boulder is located at 245 Profile Dr, Jackson, NH 03846. There is no entrance fee, but be mindful of parking regulations in the area.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take the Valley Breeze bus service from your location in Mount Washington Valley to the Jackson Village stop. Once you arrive at Jackson Village, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to reach Washington Boulder. Head southeast on Route 16 for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto Route 302. Follow Route 302 for 1 mile, then turn left onto Profile Drive. Washington Boulder will be on your left at 245 Profile Dr. Please check the local bus schedule for times and fares.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in the valley and follow the same route as cars. Start on Route 16 heading north towards Jackson, then take a right onto Route 302. Be cautious as you navigate through traffic. The ride is about 7 miles total, and it may take around 30-45 minutes, depending on your cycling speed. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow local biking regulations.

• Walking

  If you're staying close to Jackson, you can walk to Washington Boulder. From the center of Jackson, head north on Route 16 for about 0.5 miles until you reach Route 302. Turn left onto Route 302 and continue walking for about 1 mile. After that, take a left onto Profile Drive. Washington Boulder will be located approximately 0.2 miles down Profile Drive on your left. This is a scenic walk, so enjoy the beautiful views of the valley!
