If you are traveling by car, start from North Conway, NH. Head north on Route 302 for approximately 15 miles. You will reach the junction with Route 16. Continue on Route 302 for another 5 miles, passing through scenic areas. Look for signs indicating the Mt. Washington Auto Road, and take a left onto Mt. Washington Auto Road. Follow this road for about 4 miles until you reach the entrance of the Auto Road. Note that there is a fee for driving up the Auto Road, which is around $30 per vehicle (as of the latest information).

For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from North Conway to Gorham, NH. Check local schedules for the exact routes and times, as they may vary. Once you arrive in Gorham, you can either take a taxi or use a rideshare service to reach Mt. Washington Auto Road, which is about 10 minutes away (approximately 5 miles). Be prepared for taxi or rideshare fees, which may vary based on demand but could range from $10 to $20.

If you are adventurous and wish to ride a bicycle, you can start in North Conway and take Route 302 towards Gorham. The ride is approximately 20 miles and takes you through beautiful scenery.
