Getting There

• Car

  To reach Clark's Bears at 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Lincoln, NH 03251 from anywhere in White Mountains National Forest, start by navigating to NH-112 W (Kancamagus Highway) or NH-93 N. If you're on NH-112 W, continue until you reach the junction with NH-3, then turn left onto NH-3 S. If you're on NH-93 N, take exit 32 and follow signs for NH-3 S towards Lincoln. Continue on NH-3 S for approximately 5 miles, and you will find Clark's Bears on your right. Look for the large signs indicating the park entrance. Parking is available on-site at no additional cost.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, your best option is to take a bus to Lincoln, NH. The Concord Coach Lines operates a bus service from various locations, including Boston and Concord, to Lincoln. Once you arrive at the Lincoln bus station, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to Clark's Bears, which is about a 5-minute drive (approximately 2 miles) from the station. Expect to pay around $10-$15 for the taxi fare.

• Biking

  For those looking for an adventurous route, biking from nearby locations within White Mountains National Forest is an option. Start on the Kancamagus Highway (NH-112) and ride towards Lincoln. From the highway, you can take the scenic route along the Pemigewasset River. The distance from the Kancamagus Highway to Clark's Bears is approximately 12 miles. Ensure you check the weather and trail conditions, and be prepared for a moderate ride with some uphill sections.
