Take the exit toward Pompton Plains and keep right to merge onto Wanaque Ave. Continue straight onto Hamburg Turnpike, which will lead you directly to Mountainside Park, located at Pompton Plains, NJ 07444. Parking is available on-site.

    To reach Mountainside Park using public transportation, first locate a NJ Transit train station near your current location in the Appalachian Trail area. Board a train heading towards Hoboken Terminal. At Hoboken, transfer to the PATH train to Journal Square, then catch the NJ Transit bus #197 towards Pompton Plains.
