Car
If you are driving from any location in Delaware Valley, head towards Route 29. Follow the signs for Route 29 North. Continue on Route 29 until you reach the intersection with Washington Crossing Pennington Road. Turn left onto Washington Crossing Pennington Road. The park entrance will be on your right at 355 Washington Crossing Pennington Rd, Titusville, NJ 08560. Parking is available on-site and is free.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take NJ Transit to the nearest station, which is the 'Hightstown' station on the North Jersey Coast Line. From there, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach Washington Crossing State Park, as public transit does not directly serve the park. The estimated taxi fare from Hightstown to the park is around $20 to $30, depending on traffic.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, consider biking from nearby towns. Routes along the Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park Trail provide scenic views and a safe cycling path. Follow the trail north from Lambertville, which is approximately 7 miles away, connecting to Washington Crossing State Park. Remember to wear a helmet and obey traffic rules. There is no fee to enter the park; however, you should ensure your bike is in good condition for the ride.
