From High Point State Park, get onto NJ-23 S from the park entrance. Continue on NJ-23 S for about 3.5 miles. Merge onto I-287 S toward Morristown. Continue on I-287 S for approximately 10 miles. Take exit 14B for NJ-35 N toward Red Bank. After about 6 miles, take a slight right onto Red Hill Rd. Deep Cut Gardens will be on your left at 152 Red Hill Rd, Middletown Township, NJ 07748. Total travel time is approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic.
Public Transportation
From High Point State Park, you will need to drive or take a taxi to the nearest NJ Transit train station, which is in Newton, NJ. From there, take the NJ Transit train on the Morristown Line toward Hoboken. Change at the Morristown station and take the NJ Transit train on the North Jersey Coast Line toward Bay Head. Get off at the Middletown station. From Middletown station, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to Deep Cut Gardens, which is approximately 4 miles away. Make sure to check the NJ Transit schedule for train times. Total travel time can vary significantly, but expect around 2-3 hours.
