Turn left onto Route 23 South. After about 3 miles, take the exit for County Route 517 towards Branchville. Follow County Route 517 for about 5 miles. You will pass through several small towns, and eventually, you will see signs for Stokes State Forest. Continue straight until you reach 1 Coursen Rd, Branchville, NJ 07826, which is the main entrance to the forest.
