    Public Transportation

    To visit the Bronx Zoo from Hoboken, start by walking to the Hoboken Terminal. From there, take the PATH train towards World Trade Center. Get off at the 33rd Street station. Then, transfer to the 1 subway line at 34th Street–Penn Station, heading uptown towards the Bronx. At the 125th Street station, transfer to the 4 subway line towards Woodlawn. Get off at the Bronx Zoo station. The zoo entrance is a short walk from the station.

    Begin at the Hoboken waterfront and take the NY Waterway ferry to Midtown Manhattan. Once you arrive at the West 39th Street terminal, walk to the 42nd Street-Bryant Park subway station and board the B or D train heading uptown. Get off at 161st Street-Yankee Stadium station. Transfer to the 4 subway line towards Woodlawn and get off at the Bronx Zoo station. Follow the signs to the zoo entrance.
