Walking
If you're in central Hoboken, start at Washington Street, which is the main street. Head north on Washington Street until you reach 14th Street. Turn right onto 14th Street and walk towards the waterfront. At the end of 14th Street, you will find the Hoboken waterfront promenade. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the end, where you will have a clear view of the George Washington Bridge across the Hudson River.
Public Transit - Bus
From the Hoboken Terminal, take the NJ Transit bus #126 towards Fort Lee. Board the bus at the terminal and stay on until you reach the 'George Washington Bridge' stop. The bus ride takes approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off, you will be at the entrance to the bridge where you can enjoy views and take photos.
Public Transit - PATH Train
From Hoboken Terminal, take the PATH train to 33rd Street in Manhattan. Once you arrive, transfer to the A train (blue line) at the 34th Street-Penn Station. Take the A train towards Inwood-207th Street and get off at the George Washington Bridge bus terminal stop. From there, you can walk to the pedestrian entrance of the bridge. This journey may take around 40-50 minutes.
