Walking
If you are in central Hoboken, start by heading to Washington Street, which is the main street through town. Walk north along Washington Street until you reach the intersection with 14th Street. Turn left onto 14th Street and continue walking until you reach the Hudson River waterfront. At the waterfront, you will find the Hoboken Terminal. From there, enter the terminal and take the PATH train towards 33rd Street. The ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the 33rd Street station in Manhattan. After exiting the station, walk east towards 6th Avenue and take a right. Continue walking south on 6th Avenue until you reach Lafayette Street. Turn left onto Lafayette Street, and The Public Theater will be on your left at 425 Lafayette St.
