Walking
Start at the Hoboken Terminal, where you can take in the waterfront views. Exit the terminal and head east towards the waterfront promenade. Walk along the promenade in the direction of New York City. After approximately 15-20 minutes of walking, you will reach the PATH train station at 14th Street. Take the PATH train to 33rd Street in Manhattan. Once you arrive, exit the station and walk east towards 5th Avenue. Turn right on 5th Avenue and walk south. After a few blocks, turn left onto Washington Mews, which is located just north of Washington Square Park.

Ferry
From Hoboken, head to the Hoboken Ferry Terminal located near the waterfront. Purchase a ticket and take the ferry to the World Financial Center in Manhattan. Upon disembarking, walk east towards the Hudson River and then walk north along West Street until you reach the Battery Park area. From there, head northeast towards 5th Avenue and walk up to Washington Square Park. Washington Mews will be on your left, just north of the park.

From your location in Hoboken, walk to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop and catch the bus towards New York City. Get off at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. From there, enter the subway station and take the A, C, or E train toward Uptown. Get off at 34th Street-Penn Station. From there, walk east to 6th Avenue and catch the F train going downtown. Get off at 4th Avenue and walk south towards Washington Square Park. Washington Mews is just north of the park.
