Train
From any location in Jersey City, head to the nearest PATH station. The Exchange Place station or the Journal Square station are good options. Purchase a ticket to the 33rd Street station in Manhattan. Once you arrive at 33rd Street, exit the station and walk to the nearby Port Authority Bus Terminal. Inside the terminal, look for the bus lines that travel to East Rutherford. Take a bus that has a stop for American Dream or East Rutherford. The bus journey will take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the bus stop, follow the signs towards American Dream, which is a short walk away.

Find the nearest NJ Transit bus stop in Jersey City. You can take the NJ Transit Bus #87 from Journal Square or #126 from various locations. Board the bus and ask the driver to let you know when you arrive at American Dream in East Rutherford. The bus ride will take about 30-45 minutes. Upon arrival, follow the signs to the entrance of American Dream.

Take the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail from any station in Jersey City towards the Hoboken Terminal. Once you arrive at Hoboken Terminal, transfer to the NJ Transit train to Secaucus Junction. From Secaucus Junction, transfer to a train towards the Meadowlands. This train will take you close to American Dream. Follow the signs to the bus terminal to catch a shuttle or local bus that stops at the American Dream. The entire journey can take approximately 1-1.5 hours.
