From Jersey City, head to the PATH train station at Exchange Place or Journal Square. Purchase a ticket to 33rd Street station in Manhattan. Board the train, and after a short ride, get off at 33rd Street. Transfer to the downtown 1 train at 34th Street-Penn Station heading towards South Ferry. Ride for 7 stops and get off at Christopher Street-Sheridan Square station. Exit the station and walk west on Christopher Street for about 5 minutes. Make your way to the Liberty State Park ferry terminal in Jersey City. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Manhattan. Once you arrive at the Battery Park City terminal, follow the signs to the subway.
