Getting There

PATH Train
To get to Hudson Yards from Jersey City, head to the nearest PATH train station. If you are near the Exchange Place station, take the PATH train towards World Trade Center. Once you reach the World Trade Center station, transfer to the 1 subway line (the blue line) at the Cortlandt Street station. Take the 1 train uptown towards 34th Street-Penn Station. Get off at the 34th Street-Penn Station stop. From there, it’s a short walk to Hudson Yards. Exit the station and head west on 34th Street. Continue walking until you reach Hudson Yards at 10th Avenue.

Bus
If you prefer to take the bus, look for the NJ Transit bus service that runs from Jersey City to New York City. You can catch the bus at various stops in Jersey City, such as at Journal Square or near the waterfront. Make sure to board a bus that heads towards Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. Once you arrive at the Port Authority, exit the terminal and walk to the 8th Avenue subway station. From there, take the A, C, or E subway lines downtown to 34th Street-Penn Station. After exiting, walk west on 34th Street to Hudson Yards.

For a scenic route, consider taking the NY Waterway ferry from Jersey City to Manhattan. Head to the Paulus Hook Ferry Terminal or the Harborside Ferry Terminal in Jersey City. Board the ferry heading towards World Financial Center or Pier 11 in Manhattan. Once you arrive, you can either walk to Hudson Yards or take a subway. If you choose to walk, head northwest towards 34th Street. If you prefer the subway, walk to the nearest subway station and take the 1 train uptown to 34th Street-Penn Station, then walk west to Hudson Yards.
