Getting There

  • PATH Train

    If you're near the Exchange Place PATH station, board a PATH train heading towards Journal Square. After approximately 4 minutes and 2 stops, get off at the Journal Square station. From here, transfer to the #80 NJ Transit bus. Board the bus at the Journal Square bus terminal and stay on for about 20 minutes until you reach the Liberty Science Center stop, which is directly in front of the entrance.

  • Bus

    If you are near the Grove Street PATH station, you can walk to the Grove Street bus stop and catch the #87 NJ Transit bus. The ride will take approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the Liberty Science Center stop, which is right outside the entrance to the center.

  • Walking

    For those who are a bit more adventurous and are staying nearby, you can walk to the Liberty Science Center. Starting from Jersey City’s waterfront area, head northwest on Washington Blvd. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles until you reach the Liberty Science Center at 222 Jersey City Blvd. This walk will take around 30 minutes.

  • Light Rail

    If you are near the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, take the Light Rail towards 8th Street. Get off at the Liberty State Park station. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to Liberty Science Center. Exit the station and head east towards the water, then follow the signs to the Liberty Science Center.
