    Getting There

    Public Transport

    Start your journey by taking the PATH train from any station in Jersey City. If you are at the Journal Square station, board a train heading towards World Trade Center or 33rd Street. Get off at the 33rd Street station. From here, transfer to a NJ Transit bus that goes to the George Washington Bridge Bus Station. Look for the bus numbers 186 or 187. Once at the bus station, board the bus heading towards Alpine, NJ. The bus will take you through scenic routes, and you will disembark at the nearest stop to Palisades Interstate Park.

    Walking + Public Transport

    If you prefer to walk, you can take a leisurely stroll to the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail station. Board the light rail towards Hoboken Terminal and get off there. After exiting the terminal, transfer to a NJ Transit bus at the Hoboken terminal going towards Alpine. The bus should take you to a stop near Palisades Interstate Park. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance to minimize waiting times.

    Bicycle

    For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in Jersey City. Head towards the Hudson River waterfront and follow the bike paths north.
