Walking
Start at the Lambertville City Hall on North Main Street. Head south on North Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Bridge Street. Turn left onto Bridge Street and continue walking towards the bridge. Cross the Delaware River on the New Hope-Lambertville Bridge, which offers scenic views. Once you reach the other side, you will be in New Hope, PA. From there, continue straight onto Main Street for about 0.6 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 29. Turn left onto Route 29 and walk for approximately 1 mile until you reach Princeton, NJ. You will know you are close when you see signs for Princeton University. The university campus will be on your right.

From Lambertville, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the corner of North Main Street and Bridge Street. Catch the NJ Transit Bus 601, which travels to Princeton. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Princeton, disembark at the stop closest to the university, which will usually be near Nassau Street. From there, it's a short walk to the main campus of Princeton University.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Lambertville. Start from Lambertville's Main Street and head south towards the New Hope-Lambertville Bridge. Cross the bridge into New Hope, PA. After crossing, continue on Main Street, then take Route 29 north towards Princeton. The bike ride will take about 30 minutes depending on your speed. Keep an eye out for bike lanes and be cautious as you ride along the road.
