    From the Lambertville city center, head southeast on Bridge Street towards York Street. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 29. Turn left onto Route 29 and continue walking for approximately 1.2 miles, enjoying the scenic views of the Delaware River. When you reach the intersection with Washington Crossing-Pennington Road, continue straight. After about half a mile, keep an eye out for the signs leading to Princeton University Art Museum on Elm Drive. You will arrive at the museum after a total walk of around 1.5 miles from the city center.

    From Lambertville, walk to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop on Route 29. Take the NJ Transit bus 601 towards Trenton and stay on the bus for about 30 minutes.
