Car
From anywhere in North Jersey, head south on Garden State Parkway (GSP). Take Exit 102 towards Asbury Park. Merge onto Route 33 East, and then take the Route 71 South exit. Follow Route 71, which will turn into Main Street, and continue until you reach the intersection with Ocean Avenue. Turn right onto Ocean Avenue, and you will arrive at the Asbury Park Boardwalk at 1300 Ocean Ave N, Asbury Park, NJ 07712. Note that parking is available, but may incur a fee depending on the season and time of day.

Begin your journey by taking a NJ Transit train from your nearest station in North Jersey towards the Long Branch station. Check the NJ Transit schedule for specific train times. Once you arrive at Long Branch, transfer to the North Jersey Coast Line train towards Bay Head. Get off at the Asbury Park station. From the station, it's a 15-20 minute walk to the Boardwalk. Head east on Mattison Avenue until you reach Ocean Avenue, then turn left to reach the Boardwalk. Please note that train fares vary based on your departure station.

Catch a NJ Transit bus (Route 832 or 837) from your location in North Jersey heading towards Asbury Park. Ensure to check the NJ Transit website or app for the latest schedule and fare information. The bus will take you directly to the Asbury Park bus terminal. From the terminal, it’s a short walk to the Boardwalk. Head south on Main Street and then turn right onto Ocean Avenue to reach the Boardwalk. Bus fares vary based on your starting point.
