Bus
From Paterson, head to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop. Take the NJ Transit Bus #190 towards New York Port Authority. Stay on the bus for approximately 30-35 minutes. Once you arrive at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, exit the terminal and walk to the 8th Avenue entrance. From there, you can catch the MTA Subway Line A, C, or E towards 42nd Street. Transfer at 42nd Street to the MTA Subway Line 1 or 2, and take it uptown towards 59th Street. Finally, get off at the 59th Street - Columbus Circle station. From there, walk east on Central Park South until you reach Museum Mile and follow the signs to Ancient Playground.
Train
Walk to the Paterson Train Station and board a NJ Transit train towards Hoboken. After about 20 minutes, transfer at Secaucus Junction to the train heading towards New York Penn Station. This will take approximately 10 minutes. Once at Penn Station, exit and head to the subway entrance. Take the MTA Subway Line 1, 2, or 3 downtown to 59th Street - Columbus Circle. From the subway station, walk east on Central Park South towards Museum Mile to reach Ancient Playground.
Walking/Combination
If you're up for a bit of an adventure, you can walk to the nearest NJ Transit Light Rail station. Board the light rail towards Hoboken and get off at the last stop. From there, walk to the PATH train station and catch the train to 33rd Street in Manhattan. Once you arrive, you can either walk or take the subway (MTA Line N, Q, R, or W) to 59th Street - Columbus Circle. From there, it's a short walk east to Ancient Playground located on Museum Mile.
