From Paterson, take NJ Transit Train Raritan Valley Line from Paterson Station towards Newark Penn Station. Get off at Newark Penn Station. Once there, transfer to the PATH train towards 33rd Street. Ride the train until you reach the 33rd Street station. From the 33rd Street station, exit onto 6th Avenue. Walk north on 6th Avenue and turn left onto East 4th Street. Continue walking until you reach Lafayette Street, then turn right. Joe's Pub will be on your left at 425 Lafayette St.

Take NJ Transit Bus 190 from Paterson towards New York Port Authority Bus Terminal. Get off at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. After exiting, walk to 8th Avenue and take the A or C subway from 42nd Street to 34th Street. At 34th Street, transfer to the N, Q, R, or W train towards 8th Street. Get off at 8th Street station and walk east on West 8th Street. Turn right onto Lafayette Street, and Joe's Pub will be on your right at 425 Lafayette St.
