From downtown Paterson, walk to the Paterson Bus Terminal located at 126 Broadway. Take the NJ Transit bus route 165 towards New York. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. Exit the terminal and head to 8th Avenue. Walk north on 8th Avenue until you reach West 50th Street, then turn left and walk west to Broadway. Shakespeare & Co will be on your left at 2020 Broadway.

If you're already in the vicinity of downtown Paterson, you can take a scenic walk to the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park located at 72 McBride Avenue, which is about a 15-minute walk from the center of Paterson. From there, head east on McBride Avenue, then turn left onto Broadway and continue walking straight for about 3 miles. You'll cross over into Manhattan, where Broadway turns into 7th Avenue. Continue walking until you reach 2020 Broadway, where Shakespeare & Co is located.
