    Bus

    From downtown Paterson, head to the Paterson Transit Center located at 20 Market Street. Take NJ Transit Bus #75 towards New York Port Authority. Stay on the bus for approximately 30-35 minutes. Get off at the stop at West 181st Street and Fort Washington Avenue. From there, walk east on West 181st Street for about 5 minutes until you reach the entrance of High Bridge Park.

    Train and Walk

    From Paterson, walk to the Paterson Train Station located at 20 Market Street. Take the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line train to Secaucus Junction. Transfer to the train heading towards New York Penn Station. Once you arrive at Penn Station, take the A or C subway line towards 168th Street. Get off at the 168th Street Station and exit towards Fort Washington Avenue. Walk north on Fort Washington Avenue for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the entrance of High Bridge Park.

    Walking

    If you're feeling adventurous and the weather is nice, you can walk from the center of Paterson to High Bridge Park, which is about 4 miles. Head west on Market Street towards Broadway. Continue on Broadway until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street, and follow it as it turns into River Drive. Continue on River Drive until you cross over the George Washington Bridge and follow the signs to High Bridge Park.
