Walking
Start from the Red Bank Train Station. Exit the station and head southeast on Monmouth Street toward Maple Avenue. Continue walking on Monmouth Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Broad Street. Turn left onto Broad Street and walk for another 0.4 miles. You will pass by shops and cafes along the way. Once you reach the intersection with West Front Street, turn right and head towards the Navesink River. Walk straight, and you will find yourself at the Red Bank waterfront area. From here, you can catch a ferry to New York City. Make sure to check the ferry schedule for the appropriate timings. Once you arrive in New York City, you can take the subway (7 train) from the 34th Street-Hudson Yards station to the 46th Street station, which is the closest to Gantry Plaza State Park.

From Red Bank, head to the Red Bank Train Station and take the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line train towards New York Penn Station. Get off at Penn Station in New York City. From Penn Station, transfer to the 1 train at 34th Street-Penn Station heading towards South Ferry. Get off at Times Square-42nd Street and transfer to the 7 train. Take the 7 train towards Flushing-Main Street and get off at the 46th Street station. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Gantry Plaza State Park. Head south on 46th Street, take a right on 47th Avenue, and follow it until you reach the park.
