From the center of Red Bank, head northeast on Broad Street towards East Front Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the train station. Take the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line train towards Long Branch. Disembark at the Matawan/Aberdeen station. From there, exit the station and walk northeast along Main Street until you reach the intersection with Route 34. Cross Route 34 and continue straight onto Lloyd Road. Follow Lloyd Road until it intersects with Iresick Brook Road, where you will find the entrance to Iresick Brook.
Bicycle
Starting from Red Bank, rent a bicycle from one of the local bike-sharing services. Head east on West Front Street towards Maple Avenue. Ride along the waterfront through Riverside Gardens Park, enjoying the scenic views. Continue on the bike path until you reach the intersection with Route 35. Turn left onto Route 35 and follow the road until you reach the Matawan/Aberdeen area. From there, navigate to Lloyd Road and follow it until you reach Iresick Brook. The ride is approximately 6 miles and should take around 30-40 minutes.
Public Transportation
From Red Bank, walk to the NJ Transit train station located on Monmouth Street. Purchase a ticket to Matawan/Aberdeen on the North Jersey Coast Line. The train ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Upon arriving at Matawan/Aberdeen station, exit and board the local bus service (Middletown Township Bus) that heads towards Old Bridge. Get off at the stop nearest to Lloyd Road and walk northeast to reach Iresick Brook. The total travel time, including waiting for the bus, may take about an hour.
