Start at the Seaside Heights Boardwalk, which is a popular starting point for tourists. Walk towards the north end of the boardwalk until you reach Ocean Terrace. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Route 35. At this point, you will need to find a local bus stop. Look for the NJ Transit bus service that heads towards Freehold. Catch the bus that goes to Upper Freehold. Once you arrive at Upper Freehold, you can ask locals for directions to Red Valley, as it is a more rural area and may require a short walk from the bus stop.

If you have rented a bicycle, start at the Seaside Heights Boardwalk and cycle south along the oceanfront. Continue until you reach the intersection of Route 35. Turn left at Route 35 and continue biking north. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Freehold. After about 10 miles, you will reach Upper Freehold. From there, use a map app to navigate to Red Valley, or ask a local for the best route, as it's a more residential area.
