If you are traveling by car from any point in the Skylands Region, head towards Hackettstown. Use Route 80 for the fastest route. Take exit 19 for Route 517 N toward Hackettstown. Follow Route 517 until you reach the intersection with Route 46. Turn left onto Route 46 E, then right onto E Main St. Continue onto High St and follow the signs for Stephens State Park. The park entrance is located at 1 E. Main St, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Parking is available on-site, and there is no entrance fee.

For those using public transportation, take a NJ Transit train to the Hackettstown station. From there, you can catch the Morris County Transit bus route 24, which runs from the Hackettstown station to the park. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for the most current timings.
