Car
If you are driving from the Atlantic City area, take the Garden State Parkway South. Continue on the Parkway until you reach Exit 6 for Wildwood. Merge onto NJ-47 S (South Wildwood). Follow NJ-47 S until you reach the intersection with E 21st Ave. Turn left on E 21st Ave and continue to Central Ave. Turn right onto N Central Ave. The Hereford Inlet Lighthouse will be on your left at 111 N Central Ave, North Wildwood, NJ 08260. There is parking available nearby, but be prepared for possible fees during peak season.
Public Transportation
To reach Hereford Inlet Lighthouse using public transportation, first take NJ Transit Train on the Atlantic City Line to the Atlantic City station. From there, transfer to NJ Transit Bus #552 towards Cape May. Get off at the Wildwood stop. From the bus stop, you can either walk approximately 1 mile to the lighthouse or take a local taxi or rideshare service. The lighthouse is located at 111 N Central Ave, North Wildwood, NJ 08260. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse is accessible via the Wildwood Boardwalk bike path. If you are in the Wildwood or North Wildwood area, simply ride your bike along the boardwalk until you reach the lighthouse. There are bike racks available near the lighthouse for secure parking. Note that you may need to pay a small fee to access certain parts of the boardwalk.
