Public Transportation (Bus)
If you're starting from Albuquerque's main transit hub, the Alvarado Transportation Center, head northwest on 1st Street toward Gold Avenue. Catch Bus Route 66 (Candelaria) at the bus stop right outside the center. Stay on the bus for approximately 10 stops, which should take about 20 minutes. Get off at the Gold Avenue and 4th Street stop. From there, walk one block east on Gold Avenue, and you will arrive at The Historic Simms Building, located at 400 Gold Ave SW.
Walking
If you are near the Albuquerque Plaza (the tallest building in Albuquerque), start by heading south on 3rd Street. Continue until you reach Gold Avenue, then turn left (east) on Gold Avenue. Walk for about 0.3 miles, and you will see The Historic Simms Building on your right at 400 Gold Ave SW. This walk should take approximately 7-10 minutes.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride along the bike lanes on Central Avenue. Start at Central Avenue and head west until you reach 4th Street. Turn left on 4th Street and continue south until you reach Gold Avenue. Turn right on Gold Avenue, and The Historic Simms Building will be on your left at 400 Gold Ave SW. This route is approximately 1 mile and should take about 10 minutes.
